WASP - Arnold, 2003

Not really sure what to think of this one, but it was entertaining to an extent. With a linear narrative and completely handheld, which I really liked - added more realism to it, the film follows a single mother in a poor living situation trying to care for her 4 children.


I wasn't really sure on the inclusion of the insects and what they stood for. Possibly just to represent that where they live is gross and uninhabitable? Maybe... but the part with the wasp (CGI) going inside the baby's mouth terrified me beyond anything else and further cemented my fear of wasps...
