Dropkicked Hollywood into the digital age. (However the first ever film shot entirely in digital was Jackpot (2001) ). Was the first Hollywood blockbuster to be shot entirely digitally.

Plot synopsis

Ten years after initially meeting, Anakin Skywalker shares a forbidden romance with Padmé Amidala, while Obi-wan Kenobi investigates an assassination attempt on the Senator and discovers a secret clone army crafted for the Jedi.

Pros:

- Digital is more efficient

- Higher quality

- Higher manoeuvrability

- Takes up less physical space

- Easier to manipulate and edit

- Easier to make copies and send to cinemas

Cons:

- More expensive

- You don't get the same look as film

- Does not have the same depth of field as film

- Extra equipment is pricey (Such as lenses)
